This is the GPM Silver Aluminum Differential Carrier for the Front or Rear of Traxxas X-Maxx 8S trucks. Made of 6061-T6 aluminum, these will not flex like the stock plastic part, preventing the gears from stripping or chipping teeth under high loads. This includes four stainless steel 3×10 cap head screws for mounting the diff ring gear to the carrier.
This fits in place of Traxxas part 7781.
